中国、発生初期に隠蔽  地元誌報道          「人から人」感染も虚偽報告

中国メディアは(２月)２８日までに、湖北省武漢市当局が「原因不明の肺炎」の発生を公表した昨年末より前に、武漢の病院から検体の提供を受けた民間機関が「重症急性呼吸器症候群(SARS)に似た新型コロナウイルス」を検出していたと報じた。中国政府は、関係機関に調査結果などを公表しないよう通知を出した。

中国誌『財新』によると、遺伝子研究機関が１２月下旬に武漢の患者から採取した検体の遺伝子情報を解析したところ、SARSに似たウイルスを検出し、政府系機関の中国医学科学院にデータを提供。他の民間・公的機関も１月２日ごろまでに解析を終えた。しかし中国政府は同３日、検体を破棄するか指定機関に送るよう通知。独自公表を禁止した。当局は９日、「専門家チームが新型コロナウイルスを７日夜までに検出した」と発表した。一方、財経(電子版)によると、１月８日から武漢に派遣された専門家チームの１人が「当時、各病院は調査に対し医療従事者の感染はないと虚偽報告した」と証言。このため「人から人」感染を警告できなかった。中国政府の専門家グループトップが「人から人」感染を認めたのは１月２０日だった。
